BOLINGBROOK – A Bolingbrook man was arrested for allegedly downloading and exchanging child pornography Monday, according to Kendall County State's Attorney Weis and the Joliet Police Department.

Marco Lujano, 25, of 108 Delmar Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested by the Joliet Police Department Monday and charged with three counts of child pornography and one count of child pornography stemming from an electronic investigation conducted by the Will County State's Attorney, according to Weis.

Joliet police collected evidence proving that Lujano was using a computer at his former Joliet residence in the 7700 block of Boxwood Lane to access photos and videos featuring underage children, then shared the files with others, according to Joliet Police Lt. Brian Dupuis.

"Lujano did not create child porn, but he is allegedly involved in procuring child porn and sharing it with other users online," Dupuis said.

Police obtained a search warrant and Lujano was reportedly apprehended near Living Water Community Church in Bolingbrook, where he was completing community service for an unrelated traffic charge, Dupuis said.

Lujano was subsequently booked into the Kendall County Jail because he resided in the Kendall County jurisdiction of Joliet.
