HINSDALE – The intersection of York Road and Ogden Avenue in Hinsdale remains without power as traffic continues to stall late Thursday morning.

According to the Hinsdale Police Department's Facebook page, ComEd was expecting to complete repairs near the area by Thursday morning and the police department was hopeful York Road would reopen by morning commute.

Downed power lines on York Road have been cleaned up, but ComEd crews are still on the scene and a section of York is still closed.

Power has been restored to the intersection of Ogden Avenue and Route 83.

This is the fourth day York Road has been closed after a heavy storm passed through the area Monday night causing tree damage and hundreds of power outages in the area.
