Winfield Criterium bike race to benefit proposed riverwalk

WINFIELD – Proceeds from this year's Winfield Criterium two-day bike race will support design engineering and landscape plans for a proposed Winfield Riverwalk.

The event will take place from 2:30 until 9 p.m. July 27 and from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. July 28 at Oakwood Park, 0N499 Winfield Scott Drive.

This marks the competitive race's 14th year of attracting pro-ranked cyclists from all over the world to Winfield. The event will feature food, drinks and entertainment as well.

Proceeds will be donated to the Advocates of the Winfield Riverwalk, a non-profit organization.
