Lemont Cop on Top fundraiser brings in third most money in state

LEMONT – The Lemont Police Department's "Cop on the Roof Top" event raised $6,900 for the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Illinois.

Officers collected money on May 31 at Dunkin Donuts, 1106 S. State St., Lemont.

More than 150 Dunkin Donuts locations participated in the state and the Lemont event raised the third most.

Those who want to purchase a Special Olympics Torch Run T-shirt or hat for $15 can call the Lemont Police Department at 630-257-2229.
