Heritage Presbyterian receives new pastor

CAROL STREAM – A new pastor will soon serve Heritage Presbyterian Church of Carol Stream.

Victor Harris will take over as the permanent pastor of the congregation. Harris started work at the church July 15 and will be ordained and installed into the new position during the 9:30 a.m. church service Aug. 3.

Before joining Heritage, Harris received a master of divinity degree from Princeton Theological Seminary in 2012 and a master of theology in 2013.

The role as pastor at Heritage is Harris' first position since completing the seminary. He will also be ordained as a teaching elder in the Presbyterian Church.

Harris was raised in Houston and received a bachelor of arts in accounting and a master of finance from Texas A&M University. He was previously an associate with Deloitte & Touche, LLP and he married his wife, Jennifer, in 2006.
