Westmont schools officially be back in session Wednesday

WESTMONT –Manning Elementary, Miller Elementary, South School, Westmont Junior High and Westmont High schools will welcome students for their first day of the 2013-14 academic year bright and early tomorrow.

In a board meeting Aug. 13, it was announced that students will see some new faces around school, or in different classrooms.

At Manning Elementary, 200 N. Linden Ave., Nicole Edmeier will be a new Special Education teacher, Mary Roth will be a full-time kindergarten teacher and Meagan Walsh is half an ELL teacher and half a reading teacher.

Miller Elementary, at 125 W. Traube Ave., will welcome Elizabeth Garcia as a Dual Language kindergarten teacher.

At South School, at 133 S. Grant St., Joan Stumph will be an Early Childhood teacher along with Lillian Tsai.

Westmont High School is has named Megan Wojtulewicz as its new Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher.

The Board of Education for Community Unit School District 201 will meet at 7 p.m. Aug. 27 at Village Hall, 31 W. Quincy St.
