Lemont diners can eat sushi to help shoeless on Monday

LEMONT – Kitaro Grill and Sushi Lounge, 1224 State St., Lemont, will host the Sushi for Shoes fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday.

When customers bring in a voucher, 10 percent of all dine-in and take-out orders will be donated to the Hope and Friendship Foundation to buy new and gently used shoes for school children.

Viviana Grasso of Petal Play Design will serve as the hostess for the evening.
