Oak Brook police issue citations during campaign, none for DUI or seat belt

OAK BROOK – From Aug. 13 through Labor Day, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) partnered with the Oak Brook Police Department to remind motorists to buckle up and not drive impaired as part of the “Click it or Ticket/Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Mobilization."

During the mobilization, the Oak Brook Police Department issued two speeding violations, one child safety restraint citation, three uninsured motor vehicle citations, one suspended license citation and two other citations.
