People's Resource Center to distribute 3,000 Thanksgiving dinners during November

The People's Resource Center (PRC) is hoping to serve more than 3,000 Thanksgiving dinners to DuPage County residents this November.

The organization is seeking community donations to accomplish its goal, according to a news release from the nonprofit.

For $20, residents can purchase a holiday meal for families in need that includes a choice of holiday sides, ethnic food and a gift certificate for a turkey.

To donate, visit PRC's website at www.peoplesrc.org or send a check with "Thanksgiving" in the memo line to the center at 201 S. Naperville Road in Wheaton.
