The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County recently launched a new website called Observe Your Preserve, which is designed to offer more information about life found in the county's forest preserves, according to a news release from the district.

The site offers photos and descriptions of hundreds of different animal species, profiles of habitats and educational tools, the release said. It allows for registered users to upload pictures and descriptions and note wildlife sightings. The site also offers several resources for teachers, including lesson plans.

For more information, contact Marcy Rogge, the district's Office of Education outreach manager, at 630-933-7076 or mrogge@dupageforest.org or visit www.dupageforest.org/observe.
