Free health fair offers life-saving screenings and CPR education Saturday

DOWNERS GROVE - Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital will host a health education fair Saturday which will include health screenings as well as a presentation and demonstration of hands only CPR.

Screenings are from 7:30-9 a.m. and include free blood pressure, BMI and osteoporosis screenings.

At 9 a.m., Dr. Vemuri Murthy, founder and chair of Project SMILE, will present “hands only CPR” and offer a demonstration of the appropriate techniques.

The fair is in the Oak Rooms of Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, 3815 Highland Ave.Registration is required. To register visit advocatehealth.com/gsam and click on “I need a class or support group” and enter code 4G98.
