Police reports: Downers Grove for Dec. 11

Cigarette cartons taken

Between 50 and 75 cartons of cigarettes were reported stolen in an apparent business burglary between 10:30 p.m. Nov. 26 and 5:10 a.m. Nov. 27. A deliveryman reportedly discovered shattered glass in the front of the store in the 400 block of 75th Street and called 911. Police found a brick in the back of the business that might have been used to shatter the window and gain access to the store. An employee told police between 50 and 75 cartons of Newport and Marlboro Menthol were missing.

Criminal sexual abuse alleged

Miguel A. Antunez, 40, 2104 Ridgeland Ave., Berwyn, was charged with criminal sexual abuse at the Downers Grove Police Department at 11:54 a.m. Thursday. A bar employee told police Antunez allegedly fondled a woman after she fell asleep at the business about 10:50 p.m. Oct. 13.

Burglaries, thefts reported

• The door locks of two vehicles were reported punched out between noon and 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of Butterfield Road. Two wallets were reported missing from one of the vehicles, and nothing was reported missing from other. There are no suspects.

• Timothy Ursache, 22, 832 73rd St., Downers Grove, and Nicole E. Scialabba, 22, 7348 Winthrop Way, Downers Grove, were both charged with retail theft at 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 1200 block of 75th Street. Ursache also was charged with unlawful transportation of alcohol.

Marijuana charges

Christopher M. Brooks, 20, 7713 Woodward Ave., Woodridge, and a 15-year-old female were both charged with unlawful possession of marijuana at 3:20 p.m. Dec. 4 in the 4900 block of Fairview Avenue. Brooks also was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a child.

Disorderly conduct charges

• Paul A. Reardon, 58, 703 W. Liberty Drive, Wheaton (DuPage PADS), was charged with disorderly conduct- urinating in public at 5:49 p.m. Friday in the 4800 block of Main Street.

• Rasheena M. Nero, 18, 8107 Route 53, Woodridge, was charged with disorderly conduct at 2:45 p.m. Thursday at Downers Grove South High School.
