Community High School in West Chicago to host lieutenant governor candidate debate

WEST CHICAGO – Community High School in West Chicago will host an Illinois lieutenant governor candidate debate Tuesday.

The debate will begin at 7 p.m. in the auditorium at the high school, 326 Joliet St. Guests are asked to enter at Entrance F on the east side of the building.

The debate will be primarily conducted by students from Community High School and other schools participating in the Mikva Challenge. The challenge is a Chicago-based nonprofit organization that encourages students to be involved in the political process.

A live Twitter feed will allow audience members to submit questions during the debate.

A meet and greet with local government officials will take place before the debate at 6 p.m. in the school library.
