La Grange high school students plunge for Special Olympics

LA GRANGE – 45 Lyons Township High School students dove into icy Lake Michigan for the 2014 Polar Plunge supporting the Special Olympics of Illinois.

The students, along with five LTHS teachers took the plunge, and raised more than $14,000. With the largest group in attendance and the high school with the highest donation, LTHS was awarded with the Cool School Challenge Golden Bear Award.
