GLEN ELLYN – Glen Crest Middle School Orchestra Director Kristi Ditsch listens to seventh grader Ally Paul rehearse her solo at the Celebration of the Arts on Feb. 18 at the Glen Ellyn Public Library.

Glen Crest's art, home art and music departments occupied the library's second floor during the event, the goal of which was to promote fine arts and incorporate student work into the larger Glen Ellyn community.

The celebration featured animation projects, paper mache animals, an art gallery, blogs, sewing and musical performances.
