Published: Sunday, April 6, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

LOMBARD – The advanced acting class at Glenbard East High School will present its studio production "Ghetto Life 101" and "Remorse: The 14 Stories of Eric Morse" at 7:30 p.m. April 16 at the high school, 1014 S. Main St. in Lombard.

The performance is an interpretation of a radio documentary that was produced by Sound Portraits featuring the interviews of Le Alan Jones and Lloyd Newman. It was first played on WBEZ's All Things Considered and then nationally aired on National Public Radio.

"Ghetto Life 101" is a look at urban life depicting the south side of Chicago in the mid 1990s. "Remorse: The 14 Stories of Eric Morse" examines the horrific murder of 5-year-old Eric Morse, a crime that shocked the nation.

Tickets are $3 and may be purchased at the door. For more information, contact Mark Kaetzer at 630-424-6640 or via email at mark_kaetzer@glenbard.org.
