District 58 offers online registration option for next school year

Published: Monday, April 7, 2014 5:45 p.m. CDT

DOWNERS GROVE – District 58 officials announced that parents will be able to use online registration system for the 2014-15 school year.

The system, powered by Infosnap, is a "secure and green process" that allows families to submit registration information online for their children, as well as pay applicable fees either at the time of registration or in August, according to a press release.

All returning families will receive a personalized message with instructions on how to access the system.

Incoming families can register their children online by clicking the online school registration link along the right-hand side of the district's website, www.dg58.org, clicking the New Families link on the page, and following the prompts.

"While we are not requiring families to register online for the 2014-15 school year, we want to ensure that all families who wish to register their students online have the opportunity to do so," the press release stated. "If you do not have access to a computer at home, contact your child’s school to set up a time to register online."

Registration forms and documents are available in English and Spanish.

New and returning families who do not wish to register their children online can contact their child’s school to obtain paper copies of the registration forms.
