Two Men and A Truck to help area moms

LA GRANGE PARK – Two Men and A Truck moving company is looking to help local moms during its seventh annual Movers for Moms program.

The program delivers small comfort items for women who are homeless or victims of domestic abuse. Deliveries will be made to women at Pillars in La Grange Park, Family Shelter Service in Wheaton, Crisis Center for South Suburbia in Orland Park and Guardian Angel Community Center in Joliet.

Donations of soaps, toiletries, slippers, robes, pillows, bath towels and pajamas will be accepted through April 30.

Organizations collecting donations in the area include Oasis Women’s Fitness Spa, 355 N. La Grange Road; the Greater La Grange YMCA, 1100 E. 31st St.; Inland Bank, 5456 La Grange Road in Countryside; and Elmhurst YMCA, 211 W. First St. in Elmhurst.
