A team of volunteers from The Morton Arboretum, The Davey Tree Expert Company, the city of Chicago and other organizations, including Evan Schorr (from left), Hannah Rennard, Lisa Ryan, Matt Schaefer and Gina Steele, tag trees Monday near downtown Chicago to raise awareness just in time for Arbor Day on Friday.

The group hung brightly colored tags with positive messages on nearly 2,000 trees in and around downtown.
