BATV names new station manager

BATAVIA – Batavia Access Television has named Jim Dillenburg as its new station manager.

Dillenburg is no stranger to BATV, as he has served on its Board of Directors as a member and as president.

Although Dillenburg had been serving as station manager on an interim basis since February, he officially assumed his new title Friday, he said.

"I'm excited about it," Dillenburg said. "I think we have a really good team here."

The previous station manager, Holly Deitchman, was named executive director of the Batavia Chamber of Commerce in January.

According to BATV, Dillenburg has owned Silver Fox Video Productions for the past eight years, and his experience in business and technology spans more than 40 years.

As station manager, Dillenburg said he wants to work on improving quality.

BATV plans to add a couple of new shows this summer but is still working on developing their names, Dillenburg said. He said college interns will help with the filming and coordinating of those shows.

BATV programming is broadcast on Comcast Channels 10 and 17 and on AT&T U-verse Channel 99 throughout northern Illinois. Content is also available at www.mybatv.com.
