Lemont theater auditioning dogs for 'Wizard of Oz'

LEMONT – A dog is need to play the role of Toto in the Little Mountain Community Theatre's production of "The Wizard of Oz," according to a theater news release.

Auditions will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lemont Public Library, 50 E. Wend St.

Dogs auditioning must be calm, obedient and good-natured with no history of biting or bad behavior. Most breeds are welcome, with the exception of pit bulls, dobermans and other breeds deemed dangerous.

Dog owners must be available for all rehearsals and for the three performances scheduled 7:30 p.m. July 18 and 19 and 2 p.m. July 20 at the Lemont High School Performing Arts Center, 800 Porter St.
