Berwyn Public Health District to host Kid’s Health Fair

BERWYN – The Berwyn Public Health District will hold its first Kid’s Health Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 22, at the district's offices, 6600 W. 26th St.

The Loyola Pediatric Mobile Unit will provide school physicals by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling the Health District at 708-788-6600.

The Children’s Clinic will be offer free dental exams from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for incoming kindergarten, second, and sixth-graders. Physicals and dental exams are limited to Berwyn residents.

Exercise demonstrations and fun activities will be provided by local organizations. Be the Match will be at the Health District registering potential bone marrow donors, which consists of a non-invasive mouth swab. Heartland Blood Centers will also be at the fair for anyone who wishes to donate blood.
