Johnsburg's Ridout, Huntley's Skonieczny named to All-State baseball team

Johnsburg shortstop-pitcher Collin Ridout and Huntley catcher Mark Skonieczny were named to the Illinois High School Baseball Coaches Association All-State teams in their respective classes.

Ridout was named in Class 3A as a pitcher. He was 10-0 with 70 strikeouts in 56 innings and an 0.75 ERA. He also hit .394 with six home runs and 29 RBIs and 28 runs scored. Ridout, a four-year varsity player, will play at Heartland Community College in Bloomington next year.

Skonieczny, a three-year varsity player, hit .378 with two homers and 33 RBIs for the Red Raiders, who won the Fox Valley Conference Valley Division outright. He will play at Illinois next year.
