Police reports: Lisle for June 25

Burglary

John J. Franck, 23, 4504 Dumoulin Ave., was charged with attempted residential burglary, burglary to motor vehicle and criminal damage to property at 6 p.m. June 17 at his home. An arrest warrant was issued for Franck after evidence recovered from the scene of a May 1 attempted residential burglary on Meadow Lane identified him as a suspect. He was taken into custody, brought to the Lisle Police Department, processed and charged. Franck was assigned a bond of $100,000 with 10 percent to apply, which he was unable to post. He was transported to DuPage County Jail to await a hearing.

DUI

Donald V. Smith, 24, 7315 Winthrop Way, Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and numerous vehicle violations at 1:45 a.m. June 22 at Route 53 and Summerhill Drive.

Possession

Eric V. Smitherman, 19, 645 Springfield Drive, Roselle, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:37 a.m. June 20 at Route 53 and Smith Road.

License violations

• Robert H. Stark, 44, 233 Penny Lane, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration at 11:11 p.m. June 21 in the 4600 block of Schwartz Avenue.

• Edward L. Brown Jr., 29, 549 N. Hamlin Ave., Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended at 11:41 p.m. June 20 at 550 Ogden Ave. He had an outstanding warrant from Will County at the time of the incident and was transported to DuPage County Jail to await transfer to Will County Jail.
