WILLOWBROOK – Former Chicago Blackhawks player and coach Denis Savard helped celebrate the grand re-opening of Sports Authority in Willowbrook on June 21.

Savard greeted a crowd of eager Hawks fans at 1 p.m., then talked to fans, took photos and signed autographs.

The Savard meet and greet was just one of Saturday's promos, as the first 250 customers won "Mystery Bucks" that ranged up to $500 in value. There were also hourly $100 gift card drawings, and customers entered for a chance to win a $500 Sports Authority shopping spree.

The newly remodeled 40,122 square-foot store is located at 7125 Kingery Highway.
