Glenbard South gets health grant

GLEN ELLYN – Glenbard South High School will receive a $1,250 grant from Action for Healthy Kids, a nonprofit fighting childhood obesity, undernourishment and physical inactivity, according to a news release from Glenbard Township High School District 87.

In the fall, Glenbard South will develop a teacher and student committee to implement wellness and nutrition activities.

The grant is sponsored by the Campbell Soup Foundation.
