PRAIRIE GROVE — The Prairie Grove Police Department is advising all residents to be aware of personal belongings and vehicles after there were four reported burglaries between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The four incidents were vehicle break-ins, according to Prairie Grove Police Sgt. Tony Colatorti.

No further details were made available as the burglaries are still under investigation, but Colatorti added this is the second string of burglaries in two weeks.

A Nixle alert from the Prairie Grove Police reminds residents to make sure vehicles parked outdoors are locked and all electronic devices, garage door openers, purses and wallets, etc. are removed from the vehicle.

It also advises to always lock residence doors, to leave an exterior light on at night, and to alert police by dialing 9-1-1 of any suspicious activity.
