Under the supervision of Kline Creek Farm Heritage Interpreter Denis Buck, Ahad and Arwa Khan of Westmont fasten top beams of a model barn Saturday at the Westmont Public Library.

WESTMONT – Children and their families learned the ins and outs of constructing a barn Saturday at the Westmont Public Library.

Beginning at 2 p.m. Saturday, Kline Creek Farm Heritage Interpreter Denis Buck educated on the importance and function of barns before the kids took the lead and constructed a to-scale model.

Kline led the fun, informative build a barn workshops at 2 p.m., 2:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
