Berwyn Bronco baseball takes home two regionals

The 12U Bronco level baseball team from Berwyn Recreation made its deepest postseason run since 2004 this summer as the squad won the Plainfield and Kankakee regional tournaments. Those wins sent the team to the Pony Baseball North Zone Bronco regionals July 24 to 26 in Channahon, Ill., where it faced teams from Illinois, Indiana, Iowa and Michigan. Team members pictured are: David Duran, Bobby Hall, A.J. Hererra, William Ledvort, Dante Maietta, Bobby Martinez, Isaiah Martinez, Sammy Titzer, Danny Trujillo, Max Wink, Austin Wood, head coach Mark Nowak and assistant coaches Danny Trujillo and Chuck Wood. Justin Guzman and Marco Ruiz were also members of the team.
