Fall Blood Drives set for Sept. 10 in Lombard

LOMBARD - In remembrance of 9/11, the village of Lombard will host its Fall Blood Drives on Sept. 10.

The Heartland Blood Center-operated drives will run from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Yorktown Center's lower level, near entrance No. 5 and from 1:30 to 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 255 E. Wilson Ave.

Donors will receive a coupon for a free pint of Culver's frozen custard and a chance to win a raffle for both a Yorktown Center gift card and four tickets (with parking access) to a White Sox vs. Royals game.

A photo ID will be required at time of service.
