Standard Market Naperville to hold festival

NAPERVILLE - Standard Market Naperville, 1508 Aurora Ave., will host a “Taste of Standard Market” festival from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday in its parking lot , according to a news release from the business.

Attendees can purchase tickets for $1 each to enjoy Standard Market’s summer street fare offerings, which include watermelon and feta salad skewers, grilled topneck clams with cilantro beer butter and carne asada bavette steak.

Also at the event, Standard Market will unveil its newest vintage of Pioneer Cabernet Sauvignon - a blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot and old vine petite sirah. Complimentary samples will be available and glasses will cost $6.

The festival will include family-friendly activities such as face painting, a magic show and a performance by local musician Michael Heaton.
