Published: Thursday, April 11, 2013 3:30 p.m. CDT

LOMBARD — The village's summer tradition of "Cruise Nights" will begin in the downtown district June 1 with a special "Welcome Back Weekend" theme, which will feature a deejay playing music from the 1950s.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of Cruise Nights for the village, and the Saturday night event will run from June 1 to Aug. 25. There will be no car show on July 6 in observation of the Fourth of July.

Classic car owners can park their cars along St. Charles Road from Main to Elizabeth streets, along Park Avenue or in one of the "cruise zone" parking lots on St. Charles Road.

The car show runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and a listing of weekly entertainment is available at villageoflombard.org under the "Quick Links" tab.

To learn more about Cruise Nights, call the village at 630-620-3038.
