State Rep. Deb Conroy, D-Villa Park, issued the following news release:

VILLA PARK – A busy month of May in Springfield will not be stopping State Rep. Deb Conroy’s district-wide Coffee Shop Stop tour.  On Saturday, May 11, Rep. Conroy will be at the Starbucks in Carol Stream located at 696 North Ave. from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.

“I want to be sure that I remain accessible to my constituents during the few weekends in May that I’ll be able to come home from Springfield” said Conroy. “The informal, relaxed atmosphere of the Coffee Shop Stops provides for great conversation on issues that my constituents care about, whether it's straightening out the state budget, eliminating wasteful spending, or a variety of other issues.”

This will be Rep. Conroy’s second Coffee Shop Stop in May. The Coffee Shop Stop Tour, as well as community stops, advisory committees, and other events will continue this summer after the legislative session concludes.

“I’m looking forward to this summer and the amount of time I will be able to interact with people in the district,” said Rep. Conroy. “I fully intend to make the most out of my time home in the district and make sure that I am talking to as many folks in the 46th District as possible. That way I will be able to bring their perspective and ideas with me to the state legislature.”
