LISLE – As part of an ongoing commitment to support education and community service, the Lisle Lions Dollars for Scholars recently awarded two $500 scholarships to graduating high school seniors.

The following outstanding candidates received this year's scholarships: Christine Young and Joshua Haseltine, both from the Lisle High School.

In addition, $50 cash awards were given to eighth-grade graduates Destany Hahn and Kyle Belina of the Lisle Junior High School, and Nicole Farolan and Kazi Bagdady of St. Joan of Arc School.

Lions Club scholarships and awards are made possible through the Dollars for Scholars program, July 4th donations and annual Christmas tree sales.
