LISLE – More than four months after torrential flooding swamped the Lisle community, one of its longtime members is set to open its doors again, according to its owner.

Lisle Lanes, 4920 Lincoln Ave., will reopen the weekend of Sept. 7, according to its owner, Caesar Cannigo.

Cannigo said the floods April 18-19 caused more than a million dollars in damages to his business.

"We're taking out all the old lanes and putting 32 new lanes in," he said Thursday, adding that many machines that operate the alley must be replaced as well.

The business's website lists the following statement:

"Thank you to our friends, family and our patrons during this process. Your support, donations and kind words have meant a lot to us during this time. Please check back on our website on a weekly basis for more pictures. We will be posting updated photos weekly of the the process."

For more information, call the business at 630-968-1300 or visit: www.lislelanes.com
