Google designates Oak Brook as 2013 eCity for Illinois

OAK BROOK – Google has named Oak Brook as the 2013 eCity for the State of Illinois. The eCity Awards recognize the strongest online business community in each state – the new digital capitals of America.

The businesses in these communities are embracing the web to find new customers, connect with existing clients and fuel its local economies, according to a news release.

Oak Brook joins the ranks of America’s leading cities in the digital economy.
