GLEN ELLYN – As the first week of school draws to a close, Glen Crest Middle School in Glen Ellyn welcomes two new teachers to its math and physical education departments.

Danielle Johnson is joining the school as a math teacher, while Danny Sheridan is beginning his career as a physical education teacher.

Johnson has served as a substitute teacher in Community Consolidated School District 89 for four years. In addition to teaching math, she hopes to be part of the Rachel's Challenge FOR (Friends of Rachel) CLUB that seeks to create a positive environment for all students.

Sheridan will teach eighth grade P.E. classes and coach eighth grade boys' basketball.
