Volunteers needed to visit local, homebound seniors

Published: Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013 4:50 p.m. CDT

LOMBARD – The DuPage Senior Citizens Council is recruiting volunteers to help deliver meals and conduct well-being checks on homebound seniors throughout the county.

Volunteers are needed everywhere, but specifically in the communities of Bloomingdale, Glendale Heights, Naperville and Westmont. No experience is needed, but people must complete a training program and submit to a background check.

Anyone interested can contact Cathy Jordan, volunteer coordinator, at 630-620-0804 or visit dupageseniorcouncil.org.
