Cantigny to raise awareness about veterans benefits at annual event

WHEATON – The First Division Museum at Cantigny Park in Wheaton will host its fourth annual Veterans Benefit Event at 9 a.m. Sept. 28, according to a museum news release.

The day-long, free event will offer information to U.S. veterans about benefits they have earned, including retirement and medical, according to the release.

Veterans are encouraged to bring copies of their DD214 form and other documents for benefits institution, upgrading and review.

Free food and drinks will be provided. Live music and a vintage war plane flyover will entertain those in attendance.
