As part of $9 million worth of construction projects recently announced in DuPage County, the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) will manage the building demolition and cleanup of three sites along Tamarack Drive between Illinois Route 53 and Arbor Road in unincorporated DuPage County near Glen Ellyn.

Curran Contracting Company of Crystal Lake, the lowest of three bidders, will perform the work.

The cost of the project is $93,896, according to a news release from the Office of the Governor.

The project is scheduled to start this month and end by next June, according to the IDOT website.

The construction projects are part of Gov. Pat Quinn’s $31 billion Illinois Jobs Now! program, which is expected to support more than 439,000 jobs during a six year period, according to the release.
