Leaf collection in Clarendon Hills ends Nov. 25

Published: Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 3:04 p.m. CDT

CLARENDON HILLS – Leaf collection in Clarendon Hills continues through the last Monday in November, which is Nov. 25. After that date, yard waste bags will require a yard waste sticker for disposal.

Residents are encouraged to dispose of leaves, including clearing out culverts on their property to improve drainage. Leaves can clog drains and culverts, causing water to pool and freeze in cold weather, according to a news release.

Public Works helps maintain these facilities, however, assistance from residents helps prevent problems before they begin.
