Brookfield library offers ACT practice test, final exams

BROOKFIELD – Brookfield Public Library is offering two programs to help high school students prepare for the ACT and final exams.

At 10:30 a.m. Nov. 16, the library will offer a free ACT practice test proctored by Sylvan Learning Center. Test-takers will be able to view and discuss their results at 7 p.m. Nov. 25 at the library with representatives from Sylvan. Registration is required. The library also will offer The Final Countdown, a two-day study setup for high school students preparing for finals that includes free pizza, snacks and beverages. A study room exclusively for high school students will be available, as will access to the library’s free Wi-Fi network and laptops.
