District 210 passes proposed tax levy

LEMONT – The Lemont High School District 210 Board of Education unanimously approved its final 2013 proposed property tax levy during a Dec. 16 meeting.

According to district documents, the total levy is for $22.51 million, a 6.2 percent increase from 2012.

Corporate and special purpose property taxes were up by 9 percent to $18.59 million, but property taxes extended for debt service and public building commission leases decreased by 5.6 percent to $3.91 million.
