LA GRANGE

Warrant arrest

Tabitha L. Allen, 23, of the 1600 block of North Lockwood Avenue, Chicago, turned herself in at the Bridgeview courthouse at 9:49 a.m. Dec. 17. Allen was wanted on a warrant out of La Grange.

Driving without license

• Joana Silva-Martinez, 28, of the 7300 block of West 61st Place, Summit, was charged with driving without a license after a traffic stop at Washington and Calendar avenues at 4:12 p.m. Dec. 18.

• Alexander Martin, 34, of the 800 block of West 62nd Street, was charged with driving without a license after a traffic stop at Terry Lane and Brainard Avenue at 5:38 p.m. Dec. 15.

Theft

A backpack was stolen from a porch in the zero to 100 block of Washington Avenue at 11:18 a.m. Dec. 13.

LA GRANGE PARK

Warrant arrest

Randall J. Forrest, 60, of the 2100 block of South 61st Court, Cicero, was arrested at 3:54 p.m. Dec. 11 on two warrants for failing to appear in court for charges of criminal trespass and possession of drug paraphernalia. Police stopped him at Scotdale and Stonegate roads for driving with a suspended license.

Attempted theft

Two women removed a wallet from a shopper’s unattended purse Dec. 14 at Jewel, 507 Woodlawn Ave., before the shopper grabbed her wallet back. The two women then fled.

COUNTRYSIDE

Battery, resisting arrest

Ryan Higgins, 32, of the 6600 block of Brainard Avenue, was charged with battery and resisting a police officer Dec. 6 after police responded to a disturbance at a residence.

Disorderly conduct

Michael French, 51, of the 5600 block of Sixth Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct Dec. 11 after a witness reported he was creating a disturbance in an apartment building.

Warrant arrest

George M. Soriano, 30, of the 2300 block of 61st Street, Cicero, was arrested on a traffic warrant out of Burr Ridge after being pulled over for driving with an expired registration Dec. 10 in the 6700 block of Joliet Road. Soriano also was driving with a suspended license.

Retail theft

Two offenders stole two pairs of basketball shoes valued at about $70 each Dec. 10 at Famous Footwear, 5555 Brainard Ave.

WESTERN SPRINGS

Driving without license

• Anna M. Sullivan, 59, of the 5200 block of Fair Elms Avenue, was charged with driving without a license after being pulled over for disobeying a stop sign at 53rd Street and Wolf Road at 7:33 a.m. Dec. 10.

• Oscar Mateos, 30, of the 300 block of Wood Creek Drive, Bolingbrook, was charged with driving without a license after being pulled over for driving with only one headlight at 1:19 a.m. Dec. 16 in the 5900 block of Wolf Road.

WESTCHESTER

Domestic battery

Cornell Thomas, 24, of the 10100 block of Pelham Street, was charged with domestic battery at 3:25 p.m. Dec. 12 after striking another person Dec. 8.

Disorderly conduct

John Martinez, 29, of the 700 block of Worcester Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct at 7:32 p.m. Dec. 9 for filing a false residential burglary report.

Property damage

Someone tried to pry open the door of a residence in the 1400 block of Manchester Avenue at 9:41 p.m. Dec. 10.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Computer equipment was stolen from a vehicle that had a window smashed between 9 p.m. Dec. 13 and 7:20 a.m. Dec. 14 at a hotel parking lot in the 2000 block of Enterprise Drive.
