Gunshot fired in Lemont home invasion, police investigating

LEMONT – Detectives from the Lemont Police Department are investigating a home invasion that occurred at 2:40 p.m. Dec. 30 in the 800 block of Warner Avenue, according to a police news release.

A single gunshot was fired during the incident, the release said.

Detectives are interviewing witnesses and have determined the incident was not random and had a clear motive, according to the release.
