Public Works to kick off annual concrete rehab program

Published: Wednesday, March 12, 2014 5:30 a.m. CDT

LOMBARD – The Village of Lombard's Public Works Department will conduct its annual Concrete Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Program this spring.

Work is expected to begin once weather conditions are favorable, presumably in early April. The program addresses failed or deteriorated street panels and utility dig locations on concrete streets.

Specifically, the work involves replacing concrete pavement panels and street structure adjustments. Driveway apron, curb and gutter replacement will be on an as-needed basis.
