ELMHURST – Immanuel Lutheran Church in Elmhurst is bringing the film "God's Not Dead" to York Theatre for four showings this month.

The movie tells the story of a college freshman, Josh Wheaton, who engages in a debate with his atheist philosophy professor over the existence of God. If the student is unable to convince his classmates that God is not dead, he will fail the course.

Tickets cost $5 and are available through Immanuel Lutheran Church. All proceeds will benefit the Elmhurst Walk-In Ministry, which helps families in need of emergency assistance.

Shows will be at 1:30 and 4 p.m. March 22 and March 23 at York Theatre.

To reserve tickets by March 19, contact Denise St. John at stjohndenise@gmail.com or 630-205-8409. There are 500 tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis.
