LA GRANGE PARK – Community members and residents around the area are invited to the 2014 No One Fights Alone benefit for a Brookfield resident and his family.

The event, to be held March 31 at St. Louise de Marillac Parish Center in La Grange Park, at 1144 Harrison Ave., will benefit Kevin Reynolds who was diagnosed with oral cancer a year ago.

From 3 to 10 p.m., there will be activities for children, food and drinks for sale, along with live entertainment, a silent auction and raffles.

Proceeds raised at the event will go toward Reynolds’ medical bills, daily expenses and more.

Reynolds has undergone numerous surgeries, rounds of treatment and has more to come. He has been a deacon at St. Louise de Marillac for several years and previously spent nine years at St. Barbara’s Parish in Brookfield.

Tickets for the event will be $5 per person and children younger than 5 are free.

For more information, contact the parish at 708-352-7388 or visitwww.slmparish.org.
