IC Catholic returns six starters from a year ago, including standout junior two-way player Jessica Conenna.

Conenna is a Northern Illinois commit who hit .475 with 22 RBIs and had a 1.64 ERA in 132 innings in the pitching circle last year. Fellow junior Gabby Curran (.384, 17 RBIs, 29 runs scored) and sophomore Anjella Farmer (.440, 26 RBIs) had big offensive numbers last year as well.

Junior Lindsey Montoya and freshman Katelyn Falduto are also primed for big seasons.

"We are looking to build upon our success from last couple of seasons and we feel we have balanced and strong mix of offense and defense," coach Frank Reaber said. "We have a tough schedule to start our season and we hope to get off to a good start. Our goal this season is to make a strong run in the state playoffs."
