DUI

• Melinda F. Novak, 21, 4218 Florence Ave., Downers Grove, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol at 3 a.m. April 5 at 500 E. Roosevelt Road.

• Scott W. Anderson, 22, 26W131 Tomahawk Drive, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs and possession of marijuana at 12:45 a.m. March 25 at Elm Street and Wheaton Avenue.

• Artiel Cikopana, 20, 1198 Royal Glen Drive, Glen Ellyn, was charged with driving under the influence of drugs at 6:25 p.m. April 3 at 1700 S. Blanchard Ave.

• John Daniel Peace Thompson, 21, 5721 Riviera Drive, Coral Gables, Fla., was charged with driving under the influence of drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:08 a.m. March 20 at Gary Avenue and Wesley Street.

Theft

• The catalytic converters of two parked vehicles were removed in the rear lot of a business between 7 a.m. April 3 and 9:30 a.m. April 4 in the 1500 block of East Roosevelt Road.

• Kimberly L. Steward, 22, of the 2100 block of West Roosevelt Road, was charged with retail theft, warrant for failure to appear for retail theft, obstruction and possession of marijuana at 2:20 p.m. March 27 in the 400 block of South County Farm Road.

• Catherine Emily Krone, 52, 618 S. Erie St., was charged with retail theft at 5:11 p.m. April 3 in the 400 block of South County Farm Road.

Possession

• Amanda E. Gill, 24, 1006 Lexington Lane, Batavia, was charged with possession of a controlled substance at 1:27 a.m. April 3 at Roosevelt and County Farm roads.

• Paris I. McKenley, 23, 9 E. Park Blvd., Villa Park, was charged with possession of marijuana at 11:50 p.m. April 1 in the 600 block of South County Farm Road.

• Joseph G. McHale, 27, 1315 Gamon Road, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:09 p.m. March 30 at Roosevelt and Warrenville roads.

• Sergio E. Esquivel, 21, 1240 S. Lorraine Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:05 p.m. March 27 at his home.

• Laura Eskridge, 33, 1223 E. Galena Blvd., Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana and driving without a license at 8:56 a.m. March 27 in the 900 block of East Roosevelt Road.

• Edgar A. Palicios, 27, 415 N. Union St., Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1:28 a.m. March 26 at Naperville Road and Willow Avenue.

• Alexander Rafael John Jeffay, 24, 2011 Brentwood Lane, was charged with possession of marijuana at 2:33 a.m. March 23 at Dawes Avenue and President Street.

• Jarnell Randell, 22, 1356 W. Main St., St. Charles, was charged with possession of marijuana at 12:53 a.m. March 21 at Briarbrook Drive and Golfview Lane.

• Brady Baxter Neil, 21, 501 College Ave., was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 12:08 a.m. March 20 at Wesley Street and Gary Avenue.

Criminal damage

• Two scratches were made in the dashboard of an unlocked, parked vehicle between 8 and 10:30 a.m. April 1 in the 800 block of East College Avenue.

• The outer pane of a first floor window was broken between 4:30 and 7 p.m. March 31 in the 1500 block of Stonebridge Trail.

Criminal trespass

John O. Barron, 57, 1458 S. Canal St., Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass at 1:37 p.m. April 1 at West Street and Liberty Drive.

Underage drinking

Eric W. Stein, 20, 504 Edgewood Ave., Lombard, was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 11:59 p.m. April 1 in the 600 block of South County Farm Road.

Warrant arrest

• Anthony Santaniello, 33, 2144 Bradford Drive, and Meghan E. Gustin, 29, 29W458 Butternut Lane, Warrenville, were arrested on warrant for failure to appear in court for possession of a controlled substance at 10:20 p.m. April 1 on Route 53.

• Zachary C. DePhillips, 23, 1295 Briarbrook Drive, was arrested on warrant for larceny and charged with being a fugitive from justice at 1:55 a.m. April 4 at Farnham Lane and Naperville Road.

• Dave A. Lanier, 49, 1679 Williamsburg Court, was arrested on warrant for failure to appear for harassing communication at 4:25 p.m. March 31 at Heritage Lakes Drive and Williamsburg Court.

• Dwight Sias, 59, 1454 Whitespire Court, Naperville, was arrested on warrant for disorderly conduct and battery at 6:15 p.m. April 1 at the Wheaton Police Department.

Fire department assist

A plastic and metal dumpster owned by Waste Management and leased to Ivy Restaurant was destroyed and the wooden fence surrounding the rear of the business was charred at about 1:10 p.m. April 1 at 120 N. Hale St.
